The winner's of the Rob Kinneman 2nd Annual Memorial Tournament are
posted. Species caught and weights are on the information page. We had a
great turnout and a lot of fun even with the weather on Friday night and
Saturday morning. See the pictures on the photos page.
We have a tentative date of June 13th for the 2009 tournament. Those of
you that have registered with us will receive advance information but keep
checking here for further details.

The Angler's Meeting was held Friday, July 18, 6:30
pm at Salty Mike's, (click for address and map) at the
Charleston City Marina. We enjoyed the buffet style
appetizers of wings, meatballs, egg rolls and chips
and dip. The silent auction began with bids on a fish
finder, whimsical and decorative fish items, and a
Tow-n-Go inflatable tow raft, which ran until Saturday
evening. Raffles were well underway with tickets
selling at $1.00 each or $20 an arm length. One lucky
person walked away with a large cooler supplied by
West Marine.
Saturday was a day of fishing and fun. The weigh in
was at the Charleston City Marina Megadock with
food and awards at Salty Mike's. We all had
sandwiches, chips and cookies while getting more
raffle tickets The final day saw lucky people walk
away with all sorts of goods including tickets aboard
the Thunderstar for a day of chartered fishing. Each
year gets better and with you there we expect next
year to be even more fun!
